Located 14 Heron Street, the Huonville Pool is a 50m heated outdoor pool, and features a separate pool for toddlers.
The pool is open from Saturday 4 November 2023 through to Sunday 31 March 2024, seven days a week (closed Christmas Day and on 20 January 2024 for the Huon Valley Aquatic Medal Meet).
OPENING HOURS
Last day of the 2024 season is Sunday 31 March.
Easter Opening Hours – no change to opening hours on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Sunday.
School terms – 12 noon–6pm Monday to Friday, and 10am–6pm on weekends
School carnivals are held on weekdays during December/February/March from 9am–3pm. The pool will be closed to the public until 3pm on these days. Carnival dates are advertised on the pool noticeboard and on this page (see below).

EARLY MORNING LAP SWIMMING – CHANGE TO TIME as at 11 March 2024 – NOTICE TO SWIMMERS
From Monday 11 March 2024 onwards early morning lap swimming times will switch to 7am to 8.30am. Mornings are gradually getting darker and it has reached that time of our season when for safety reasons we need to push back early morning lap swimming times. We hope this will not cause you any inconvenience and that you will continue to make the most of the pool season.
3 days per week 7am to 8.30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please note early morning lap swimming will cease over the Christmas and New Year holiday period. Last day Friday 22 December 2023 and re-commencing on Monday 8 January 2024.
