Information on Testing Purposes 1

I am a member of staff that has been asked to draft a new page for publishing on the website. I am writing this draft at 8:55am. In a moment I will try and save the draft for reviewing by my supervisor before realising that I actually want to make some more changes to this page.

Oh no! I forgot to sign my page so that the public knows who to contact if they don’t like what I’ve written. – Written on 24/05/2024 at 8:58am by Author Test.

I am Author Test’s supervisor and I have been informed that their page draft is ready for review. I am noting that this is ready for publishing at 9:59am.

I am the Website Content Manager, and I am verifying that the page looks good and content is suitable. I will now publish the page at 3:35pm. This will prevent Author Test from directly editing the page.

I am Author Test. The page has been published, and now I am adding extra information as required in the standard review period. I am submitting this revision by clicking the ‘Update Revision’ button.

This is a second revision by Author Test. Council has implemented a “checklist” feature for WordPress, which requires my pages and revisions to be approved by my direct manager or a member of the IT team. I am submitting a revision for a published page.

This is a test revision. This sentence is Author Test attempting to edit the revision.

This page has been marked as unapproved by Administrator or Editor. Editor_Test will mark the revision as approved, then a member of the IT team will approve the revision and mark the revision as unapproved for the next revision cycle.
