Anyone can view census data for the Huon Valley via the Tasmania Social Atlas, which presents demographic information through a series of interactive maps that show how particular population groups are distributed. With the ability to identify where communities of interest are concentrated, such as young children and the elderly, planners using the Social Atlas can accurately assess where particular services and facilities are needed.
Data provided by the id. tools is derived from Australian Bureau of Statistics data, analysed and presented by population experts and funded by Tasmania.
