The Huon Valley Hub is a welcoming community space where you can connect with others, learn new skills and become more informed, and get the support you need in the one location.

Drop in Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am and 4pm.

The Hub is calling for expressions of interest (EOIs) from non-profit community groups, and health and wellbeing service providers, to become program partners and help build a stronger and healthier Huon Valley. Submissions can be made using the form below.

The Huon Valley Hub is located in the 23 Main Street building in Huonville, and includes the neighbouring green space.

The Hub provides a space for community members to:

• Meet with others
• Easily access programs and services
• Take part in social activities and workshops

Some of the spaces and opportunities which will be available from January 2021 include:

• Lounge area for informal meetings
• Meeting/workshop rooms with audio visual equipment
• Toilet, baby change table and kitchenette
• Exhibition opportunities
• Open-plan space for presentations and small events
• Neighbouring green space

Council is supporting the delivery of a wide range of programs and activities, such as:

• Community health and wellbeing programs
• Parenting programs
• Demonstrations or tasters (fitness, nutrition, art etc.)
• Targeted community programs (positive ageing/youth)
• Outdoor markets, live entertainment and art exhibitions
• Harm prevention and awareness
• Community consultations
• Training courses, workshops and information sessions
• Artists in residence
• Committee and network group meetings

Bookings are required for use of some spaces so that activities can be coordinated in a way that maximises opportunities for community members to get involved.

We invite community groups and program providers to be a key part of the Hub, and use this as an opportunity to connect with Huon Valley community members of all ages. To lodge your EOI, complete the form below.
