Land Use and Development Strategy

The Land Use Development Strategy and Huonville-Ranelagh Structure Plan provide policy direction for future land use and development in the Huon Valley; and with the Southern Tasmania Regional Land Use Strategy 2010 – 2035 assist in ensuring sustainable economic development and the protection of the Huon Valley’s values. These strategies have guided the development of the Huon Valley Interim Planning Scheme 2015.
